Intensive Group Courses

    Levels: Elementary - Advanced (We do not have classes for Beginners)

    25 lessons per week*

    25 lessons =  9:30 - 12:30 Monday to Friday - General English (as above) PLUS

                             12:40 - 1:30 Monday to Friday - Grammar & Skills OR IELTS Preparation OR Business English  

                             2.15 - 4.35 Monday & Tuesday - Grammar & Skills OR

                             2.15 - 4.35 Wednesday & Thursday - Business English

    Students further develop communicative ability and concentrate more on their chosen specialisation.

    As lessons are on 2 afternoons only, this leaves 3 afternoons free for private study, sightseeing etc.

     

    30 lessons per week*

    25 lessons =  9:30 - 12:30 Monday to Friday - General English (as above) PLUS

                             12:40 - 1:30 Monday to Friday - Grammar & Skills OR IELTS Preparation OR Business English  

                             2.15 - 4.35 Monday & Tuesday - Grammar & Skills AND

                             2.15 - 4.35 Wednesday & Thursday - Business English.

    Students take two afternoon options, so they study one option on Monday and Tuesday and the other on Wednesday and Thursday. Friday afternoon is kept free for private study, taking part in the social programme, etc.


    *NB: One lesson is the equivalent of 50 minutes of class time.
    25 lessons = 20hrs 50mins
    30 lessons= 25hrs

    I really enjoy my time at Shane very much.  The school is extremely welcoming and the atmosphere is very intimate, because the school is not so big.  They also organize a weekly social programme in which the teachers sometimes participate.  This contributes to a relaxed relationship with them.  The class sizes are small, so you have to participate and to speak a lot.  Also the learning approach is innovative, including games and exam practice.
    And all this in the centre of one of the most exciting cities in the world!  I have really fallen in love with London.  E city of a thousand faces, where you can live the most incredible experiences and sightseeing every day and night.
