Teacher Training - FAQ's

60. Can foreign students enrol on teacher training courses?

Students on our CELTA courses can be from any country but must have native-level English. Students will be asked to complete grammar tasks on the application form prior to interview to assess English competence (native speakers and non-native speakers). If our academic staff decide your English level is not high enough, they may recommend one of our short grammar courses before starting the CELTA course. We also run an Overseas Teacher Training course, specifically for foreign teachers.

Please see our Teacher Training website for details – www.saxoncourt.com

61. How often do your CELTA courses run?

Our full-time CELTA course runs every month. Our part-time CELTA runs 3 times a year. Please contact the school or see our Teacher Training website for further  details – www.saxoncourt.com

Student Testimonials
Theodule (Cameroon), Nicole (French)

My stay was very interesting because I’m not afraid and I like visiting and going for a walk. I know very well Paris, London is the same. I am happy because for me coming to England was a challenge.

My host family was far from school. Tube – OK. But the bus is not easy. I haven’t taken part in programme events in the evening. I’m sorry.
